People's Livelihood in Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Area

为配合正面军事斗争,打破敌人封锁围剿,取得革命胜利,川陕苏维埃自力更生、艰苦创业,采取一系列措施大力发展根据地的各类民生事业。在短短两年多时间中,农业生产、基本工业建设成就斐然,逐步建构起覆盖整个革命根据地、与革命群众生产生活息息相关的医疗卫生体系。这一系列措施的施行,既方便了根据地的人民群众生活,又为川陕苏维埃的革命斗争提供了必备条件,基本达到了支援革命斗争、巩固革命根据地的初衷。

To cooperate with the positive military struggle, to break the enemy encirclement, and to get the victory of the revolution, Sichuan- Shanxi Soviet took a series of measures to develop the people＇s livelihood. Over two years, the area got remarkable achievements in the agricultural production and construction of basic industry. Besides, the medical and health system was gradually constructed. These measures did good to the people＇s life and the Soviet revolutionary struggle, which supported revolution and consolidated the revolutionary base.
