The Revolutionary Activities of General Wei Chuantong's Earlier Life in the Eastern Sichuan

魏传统将军自小聪颖好学又"不守安分",他在达县"五高小"读书时,就参与了破除封建迷信、捣毁庙里神像、宣传新思想新文化的活动。考入达县中学,他参加了著名的新文学团体"创造社"和校内的"烂漫社",组织和参与反帝反封建反军阀的革命活动。大革命失败后,他以教书为掩护,从事党的地下工作。魏传统将军在川东的早期革命活动,成为他壮丽人生的光辉起点。

When he was young. General Wei Chuantong was clever and studious. What＇s more, he was ＂rebellious＂. When he was a pupil, he took such activities as casting out superstitions, destroying the Gods＇ statues and broadcasting new ideas and cultures. When he read in Daxian Middle School, he joined in ＂Chuanzao Club＂, a club famous for the New Literature, and ＇Lanman Club＂ of the school, by which he organized and took part in such avtivities as anti- imperialist, anti- feudal and anti- warlords. After the failure of Great Revolution, he did the Party jobs under the cover of a teacher. The revolutionary activities of his earlier life became the start of his great life.
