Comparison and Enlightenment of Core Values Education in Chinese and American Universities

对比中美高校在核心价值观教育上的异同点,为我国高校开展社会主义核心价值观教育提供借鉴,探索适合我国高校社会主义核心价值观教育的内容、方法和途径。

In spite of their difference in historical and cultural traditions and ideologies between China and the U.S.A., both countries use universities as platforms for core values education. In this paper, comparative research of the similarities and differences in their core values education are conducted to draw lessons which are beneficial references for the socialist core values education in Chinese universities. Moreover, probing a method of socialist core values education suitable for the actual situation in Chinese universities plays an important role in the better implementation of socialist core values education at universities.
