达坂城荒漠霸王在自然条件下萌发的出苗动态

摘要 种子萌发是植物生活史的关键环节。萌发的时机将决定之后幼苗面临的环境以及植物的适合度,进而影响种群动态。霸王(Zygophyllum xanthoxylon)为蒺藜科灌木,是达坂城荒漠植被的优势种,是重要的资源植物和植被恢复潜在先锋植物。本研究通过野外调查,研究达坂城霸王出苗的季节动态和微生境。结果表明:霸王在整个生长季内均能出苗,5月、6月、7月、8月、9月、10月出苗数分别为0.02株/m2,0.4株/m2,2.9株/m2,0.7株/m2,5.8株/m2,2.4株/m2,9月出苗最多。幼苗萌发的微生境主要为大麻黄丛,小麻黄丛以及径流沟中,单株霸王下较少,裸地上没有幼苗,这与微生境的水分条件以及霸王果实的特殊结构有关。本研究有助于揭示达坂城荒漠霸王在长期大风和极端干旱环境下的适应机制,为荒漠植被的恢复提供参考。 Seed germination is a crucial stage in the plant's life cycle. The germination timing in the field can determine conditions experienced after seed germination, and affects the population dynamics.Zygophyllum xanthoxylon are shrub of Zygophyllaceae, important component of desert vegetation in Dabancheng Desert. And the species are potential pioneer species in restoring desert vegetation. This study research on wild populations of Z. xanthoxylon which grown in Dabancheng with long-term wind. Seedling emergence of the species were observed.The results indicated that the emergence of Z. xanthoxylon occurred the whole grown season. The number of seedling emergence of Z. xanthoxylon in May, June, July, August, September, October were 0.02/m2,0.4/m2,2.9/m2,0.7/m2,5.8/m2,2.4/m2 respectively. The number of seedling emergence at September significant higher than others. In addition, the emergence of Z. xanthoxylon mainly occured in Canopy edge of Ephedra przewalskii,below shrub of E.przewalskii, and gully, below shrub of Z.xanthoxylon next, and no seedling for bare, which is related to wind and soil water contant The present study help for understand the adaptation mechanisms of Z.xanthoxylon under extreme environment, and provide theoretical basis for desert vegetation restoration.
