A Study of Preposition-Object Phrasein Inscriptions Carved on Tortoise Shells

文章通过介宾短语的成分构成、语法功能和语法意义对甲骨文中的介宾短语作了全面的描写 ,能对甲骨文中的介宾短语有一个整体上的认识 ;并把它与现代汉语中的介宾短语作了对比 ,期望发现它们之间的不同与联系 ,试图从介宾短语这个角度说明甲骨文语言的语法虽已初具规模 ,但仍很简单 。

This article gives an overall description of the preposition-object phrase in inscriptions on tortoise shells by way of such phrase's components, syntactic function and significance, and compares it with the preposition-object phrase in contemporary Chinese, in a bid to find the differences and relations between them.
