摘要
爱尔兰作家弗兰克·奥康纳用精湛、丰富的语言,向我们展示了爱尔兰普通民众的生活,反映了上世纪中叶爱尔兰所特有的传统文化。文章对小说中所反映的文化进行了梳理,认为奥康纳的小说在爱尔兰文化的传播中起了积极的作用。
In his stories, Irish writer Frank O＇Connor shows us Irish people＇s common lives and reveals Irish characteristic traditional culture in the middle of last century by his humorous and witty lan- guage. In this paper, the culture in Frank O＇Connor＇s stories is studied and it is pointed out that Frank OConnor plays an active role in spreading Irish culture.
