Using Electronic Signature to Facilitate the Development of A Paperless Hospital

目的电子签名系统具有身份识别,行为记录,时间准确,存储安全的四点优势。研发设计电子签名在医院信息系统中的应用,提高医院病历质量和工作效率,降低医院运营成本。方法借助电子签名信息化工具打造无纸化医院,通过三个阶段循序渐进的实施,让医护人员慢慢了解电子签名,从陌生到熟悉,从抵触到迎合,病历质量得到提高。结果对病历文书资料进行电子签名加密,实现医院无纸化。病区每天纸张打印量从2012年人均50张降低到5张,平均月打印量由75 608张降低到8 578张,降低了89%,总体降低医院运营成本29%。结论通过利用电子签名这个信息化工具来推进医院无纸化进程,保证病历文书书写的准确性,提高医疗质量,使医院的医疗管理工作进一步规范化。

Objective Electronic signature system has four advantages： recognition of identity,recording of client behaviors,and accuracy of timing and safety storage,designing and developing the application of e-signature in the hospital information system will improve the quality of hospital medical records and the work efficiency,and will also reduce the cost of operations of the hospital. Methods Three stages will be implied step-by-step to build a paperless hospital using the e-signature information tools. The implication process will strengthen the hospital staff＇s understanding of e-signature from inexperienced to familiarized,and from unwelcoming to accepted. The quality of medical records will be improved significantly. Results Through e-signature inscription of medical records and documentations,building a paperless hospital will be realized. The amount of printed documents in the treatment zones will be reduced from 50 sheets per person in 2012 to 5 per person. The monthly printing documents will be reduced from 75 608 sheets to 8 578 sheets,representing a decrease of 89% of paper usage. In total,the operational cost of the hospital will be reduced by 29%. Conclusion By applying the information tool of electronic signature to facilitate the development of a paperless hospital,the accuracy of medical documentation will be ensured,the quality of treatment will be improved,and the standardization of the hospital management system will be further enhanced.
