河道砂石既是河床的重要组成部分，又是一种兼具自然和经济双重属性的重要矿石资源。近年来，随着河道砂石资源的大量开采，我国主要河流及其干支流可利用沙量的锐减与沿江地区经济建设对河道砂石需求的激增之间的矛盾越来越突出，河道采砂的科学管理与决策已迫在眉睫。主要从六个方面详细阐述了河道采砂的主要影响内容，总结了河道采砂管理存在的主要问题，并提出了河道砂石资源可持续利用的相关建议，可为我国河道采砂的科学管理与决策提供参考。

River sand is both an important part of the riverbed, but also an important mineral resource possessing a dual attributes of both natural and economic. In recent years, with the excessive mining of river sand resources, the contradiction between the sharp drop in the amount of avail able sand in the major rivers and their tributaries and the exploding demand of river sand resources for the economic construction in the riverside area is more and more prominent. Scientific management and decision of river sand mining is imminent. This article mainly elaborates the main effects of river sand mining from six aspects, and summarizes the main existing issues of river sand management, and put forward the relevant suggestions of the sustainable utilization of river sand resources, which can serve as a reference for the scientific management and decision.
