中华文明正在走向现代复兴。中华文明的理念是这一文明的核心观念。中华文明复兴的一个重要条件,是中华文明理念在继承传统文明理念和立足当代现实基础上的重建。这一重建过程的高级形态,就是将一切可能的内外冲突、矛盾、对立、差异等等化作自我激励、自我挑战、自我超越的文明动力。就中华而言,这就是立足历史创建当代新中国的过程,即华夏"中世期"的展开;就世界意义来说,这也是人类命运共同体的创建过程。中华文明理念系统是丰富的、发展的,可从语词、概念、理念、信念和事实这五个阶梯的层层递进、循环往复的过程加以考察。在和平、发展与合作过程中赢得大自在,是中华文明复兴的理想境界和历史使命。

The Chinese civilization is moving towards the modern revival. An important condition for the revival of the Chinese civilization is to inherit the idea of traditional civilization and reconstruct based on the contemporary reality. The advanced form of this reconstruction process is to turn all possible internal and external conflicts, contradictions, oppositions, and differences into a self-motivation, self-challenge, and self-transcendence. It is also a process of creating a contemporary China, which is called ＂China-World Symbiotic Period＂ ; and creating a community of human destiny in the world. The system of the idea of Chinese civilization is rich and evolutionary, and it can be developed step by step. To win great freedom in the process of peace, development and cooperation is an ideal state and historical mission of the revival of Chinese civilization.
