年例以社为单位,源于古代对谷神、土神春秋致祭以求风调雨顺的传统习俗,旨在祈年的摆醮和驱邪的赶船,是年例中两项最核心的活动;年例的来源无关冼夫人信仰,但日益融入冼夫人崇拜的元素;年例与元宵节日期不同,且在风俗习惯上没有交合点,不存在同源关系。
Nianli takes community as a unity, originating from the traditional custom of worshipping the cereal god and earth god in the ancient times. Putting sacrifice for the sake of happiness and catching ship for the sake of driving out evil are the two core activities. Nianli has nothing to do with Madam Xian＇s worship, but is integrated into its element. Nianli is not same day as Lantern Festival day and does not have converging point in the customs. They do not have cognate relation.
