Optimization of Cold Extrusion Die for Automobile Gear Shaft

摘要 齿轴是汽车传动机构的重要零件,其复杂的外观形状,尤其是前端齿部及中间镦粗部位,在挤压成形中对模具的磨损较大.因此,根据零件的非重要特征,在模具齿部建立非对称斜角和圆角,对模具结构进行了优化.建立正交试验方案,通过Deform-3D软件对不同模具方案进行数值模拟.结果表明:当非对称斜角的横向宽度为1.3 mm、纵向高度为0.8 mm、圆角半径为0.8 mm时的方案,为最优方案. Gear shaft is an important part of automobile driving mechanism. For its complex shape, especially front teeth and intermediate upsetting thick parts wear the die greatly in the extrusion forming. Therefore,according to the non important characteristics of the part, asymmetrical angle and fillet in the teeth part of the die was established to optimize the structure of the die. The orthogonal experiment scheme was determined, different schemes of numerical simulations for the die were conducted by Deform-3D software. The result shows that when the horizontal width is 1.3 mm,vertical height is 0.8 mm and fillet radius is 0.8 mm, the scheme is the optimal.
