Based on some actual patent examination searching examples,general searching rules and application strategies of nonpatent literature databases in catalyst field are introduced. The application of nonpatent literature databases such as CJFD、ISI Web of Knowledge、Baidu is mainly discussed according to the characteristic of different patent documents.
