摘要
在民国时期社会转型以及经济、文化等多方面发展的背景下,佛教志士积极探索革新之路,创办诸多佛教期刊,推出白话佛教文学创作,参与时代社会的意义创构。民国白话佛教文学的意义创构主要表现为入世与出世两种导向、苦惑与超越两个层面,其中入世特点比较明显;意义创构的传达以"知识的文学"与"力的文学"为主要方式,"知识的文学"之特征相对明显。民国白话佛教文学的意义创构在佛教文学史上有继承、转化与拓新之功,对民国新文学亦有特定的支持与丰富作用。
During the period of Republic of China, under the background of modern transformation of society andthe development of economy and cultural undertakings, Chinese traditional Buddhism tried a modern transformation.In the process, quite a lot of Buddhist magazines were made, some Buddhist literary works written in Chinesecolloquial language were published and took part in the creation of meaning during the period of Republic of Chinapositively. The creation of meaning of Buddhist literature written in Chinese colloquial language had two directionsincluding going into the world and out the world. At the same time, it had two levels including suffering and Nirvana.In the process, the direction of going into the world was obvious. Its artistry had two styles including “literature ofknowledge” and “literature of force ” The creation about meaning of Buddhist literature was of transitionalsignificance. Its importance were succession, transformation and creation in the history of Chinese Buddhist literature.It also provided specific support and richness for new-vernacular literature of Republic of China.
