美国医学会和中华医学会期刊APP出版的特点分析及启示

Analysis on the characteristics of APP publishing of the medical associations in China and the United States and its enlightenment to China

【目的】选取美国医学会期刊和中华医学会系列杂志作为国内外医学期刊的典型案例,探索其APP出版的实施细节,发现国内外医学期刊APP的产品特色,以期为我国学术期刊的APP建设提供参考。【方法】从用户体验的角度对美国医学会和中华医学会期刊APP进行调研,对比分析二者在功能设计与内容布局方面的异同。【结果】美国医学会期刊APP平台以用户体验为导向,提供更为人性化、更便捷的功能和服务;中华医学会学术期刊APP仍存在很大的进步空间。【结论】在期刊出版数字化及移动化的大环境下,学术期刊应重视APP出版的功能与内容建设,借鉴国外优秀学术期刊移动出版的先进做法,提高我国科技期刊的移动出版能力。

[Purposes] This paper aims to provide references for the APP construction of academic journals in China,select The Journal of the American Medical Association and the journals of Chinese Medical Association as typical cases of medical journals at home and abroad,explore the APP publishing details of implementation,and find out the characteristics of domestic and foreign medical journals＇ APPs.[Methods]We investigated these two APPs from the point of user experience,anaylzed two aspects of the functional design and content layout similarities and their differences comparatively.[Findings] The APP of The Journal of the American Medical Association regards user experience as the guide and provides more user-friendly functions and services,but the journals of Chinese Medical Association still has room for improvement.[Conclusions]Under the digital and mobile environment of publishing,academic journals should pay attention to the functions and contents of the APP,and drawlessons from foreign advanced practice to improve the capability of mobile publishing in China.
