摘要
对工科研究生英语学术论文与工程类期刊论文的语体特征的多维度对比分析发现,工科研究生论文具有更多"交互性""情景依存性所指"、更少"抽象性"等口语体特征,而期刊论文具有更多"信息性""明确所指""抽象性"等书面体特征。这说明工科研究生英语学术论文写作中缺乏语域意识。
The corpus-based multidimensional contrastive analysis of the stylistic features of engineering postgraduates’ English research papers and those of engineering journal articles demonstrates that engineering students’ research papers tend to have significantly more spoken style characterized by more＂involved production＂,＂situation-dependent reference＂and less＂abstract information＂,whereas the engineering journal articles are likely to have more written style prominently featured with more ＂informational production＂,＂explicit reference＂and ＂abstract information＂. This suggests that register awareness is inadequate in engineering postgraduates’ English academic writing.
