传统美学视角下的散文翻译中情感美的传递

On the Transmission of Emotions in C-E Essays Translation from the Perspective of Traditional Aesthetics

从传统文艺美学视角出发,以《英汉·汉英美文翻译与鉴赏》(新编版)中汉英散文翻译为例,探讨刘士聪教授传译情感美的方式和技巧。研究表明,在散文英译过程中,译者可以以传统文艺美学理论作为观照,熟知原文的创作背景,把握原文的语言风格,准确拿捏作者情感,并通过选用恰当的词语,模仿原文的语气,灵活变通句式等方式传递原文的情感美。

This article discusses the transmission of emotions in essays translation by analyzing the texts in Mr. Liu Shi-cong’s E-C and C-E Essays Translation and Appreciation（ New Edition）. The results show that translators can translate Chinese essays into English with reference to traditional Chinese aesthetic views. Translators should know the writing background,grasp the text style and have an accurate feel of the emotions in the original text. Furthermore,they should use the appropriate expressions,retain the author’s mood and flexibly make adaptations to sentence structures so as to achieve a natural and efficient transmission of the emotions in essays translation.
