摘要
L·A·丁尼生是英国19世纪维多利亚时代的大诗人，他的诗《鹰》形式比较特别，在英国文学乃至世界文学史上，恐怕没有第二首诗比它更成功，传神地刻画了鹰的形象，本诗措词完美，用四音步，抑扬格写成，押韵的格式为：aaa,bbbb.不管是从文体上，还是从诗歌的韵律上，此诗都达到了完美的境界。
Alfred Tennyson was one of the greatest poets. In his famous poem The Eagle: A Fragment, he showed the best style in metre, rhyme-scheme, wording and meaning. The poem gives the best and vividest description of eagle in English language literature even in the world's literature.
