Objective To study the levels of transient receptor potential canonical 6(TRPC6)and high conductance calcium-activated potassium channel(BKCa)in cord blood of neonates-their association with birth weigh-and explore the correlation of TRPC6 and BKCa with fetal growth restriction(FGR)in patients with preeclampsia(PCS). Methods Adopting enzymelinked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),the levels of TRPC6 and BKCa in neonatal cord blood of 30 patients with mild PCS,30 with severe PCS and 50 normal pregnant women(control group)were detected. The association of TRPC6 and BKCa levels with neonatal body mass was analyzed. Results The cord blood level of TRPC6 in mild and severe PCS was higher than that the control group, and that of BKCa level was lower, the difference was statistically significant(F=6.83,13.27;t=3.05-4.02;P〈0.05).The difference in the TRPC6 and BKCa level between the mild and severe PCS group was not significant(P〉0.05).In mild and severe PCS group, cord blood TRPC6 level was negatively correlated with neonatal birth weight(r=-0.612,-0.674;P〈0.05),and BKCa was positively correlated with neonatal birth weight(r=0.741,0.797;P〈0.05).In the normal control group,no association of TRPC6 and BKCa with neonatal birth weight was noted(P〉0.05). Conclusion Fetal growth restriction in patients with preeclampsia may be associated with the increase of cord blood TRPC6 level and the decrease of cord blood BKCa level.
