明代“俺答封贡”再研究——以张四维《与鉴川王公论贡市书》为视角

明隆庆五年(1571)五月,明王朝与蒙古右翼诸部罢兵言和,实现"俺答封贡",于明蒙关系史上留下光辉一笔。此间,张四维身为吏部左侍郎,仰仗其特殊身份——与宣大总督王崇古亲为甥舅,与吏部尚书高拱密为腹心,责无旁贷地为"贡市"出言出力。《与鉴川王公论贡市书》乃是其予舅父王崇古专论"贡市"之书札,真实记录了"俺答封贡"由初始至完结之情状,是研究该盛事的一手史料。

On May 1571, the Ming Dynasty and the right wing tribes of Mongolia agreed on a truce, and then achieved a mutual trade, which significantly brightened up their relationship. At that time, Siwei Zhang, as a vice minster in Ministry of Personnel and meanwhile as the nephew of Chonggu Wang who was Xuan-Da Governor and the close friend of Gong Gao who also served at Ministry of Personnel, contributed a lot for this mutual trade by taking the advantage of his multiple identities. The Discussion about Mutual Trade with ChongguWang was letters between Chonggu Wang and Siwei Zhang on the topic of this mutual trade, which authentically recorded the process from the beginning to the end; therefore it was recognized as the firsthand material for analyzing the big mutual trade thing.
