A Research on Governance Modes of Higher Education of the USA State Governments

在美国,每一个州的具体情况决定了其高等教育治理模式,即便是在同一个州,州政府对于不同的高校其治理模式也有所不同,体现了其高等教育治理模式的多样性与灵活性。在建立并不断完善以省级政府为主的高等教育治理体制中,中国政府能够借鉴美国州政府丰富多样的高等教育治理模式,持续不断地推进高等教育治理体系和治理能力现代化。

In the USA,governance mode of higher education in a state depends on specific circumstance of each state. Even in the same state,state governments＇ governance modes of different higher education institutions are different to some extent. This situation reflects diversity and flexibility of its governance modes of higher education. During the course of establishing and continuously improving provincial government-oriented governance systems of higher education,Chinese governments can learn from the USA state governments＇ plentiful and diverse governance modes of higher education,incessantly promote modernization of educational governing systems and governing abilities.
