摘要
凤翔是我国重要的木版年画产地之一。数百年来，凤翔木版年画流行于广大西北地区。深受人民群众的喜爱。根据世兴画局邰氏祖案记载，凤翔木版年画的起始年代应当在宋元之间，明正德年间已具相当规模。清乾隆、嘉庆、道光年间达到鼎盛时期。1995年，文化部将凤翔县命名为民间艺术之乡和木版年画之乡。
Fengxiang New Year wood-block print is an artistic form of the folk tradition and custom of the northwest districts. It expresses the agrarian age peasants＇ awe to the deities, their wishes to peaceful and happy life, and their pursuit of beautiful things. It bears the unique folklore beauty of Fengxiang. Meanwhile, the exaggerated and plump characteristics, strong contrast of colors, and the abundant text and images of Fengxiang New Year wood-block print have made it a long-lasting cultural inheritance for hundreds of years.
