摘要
中国传统装饰元素历经时代的沧桑，在无数先辈的努力下，经过数千年实践的锤炼，才有了今天涉及我们生活方方面面，包括政治、经济、文化等各个领域的中国传统工艺美术。中国传统工艺美术自古以来通过对自然万物的尊重、承认和包容，通过沟通、协调而达到和谐统一的风格。直至今日，随着科技的进步和生产力的发达，自然的平衡却早已被打破，此时人们才意识到人与自然和谐相处的重要性，开始提倡环保、绿色设计、人性化设计等等。
With profound history, unique characteristics, exquisite craftsmanship, and abundant forms, traditional Chinese decorative elements are a brilliant chapter of human history. By analyzing the derivatization, manifestation, and vitality of traditional Chinese decorative elements, this article puts forward the issue of the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese decorative elements in the world today. The author also points out that although the graphic design industry in China is gradually developing from ＂made in China＂ to ＂created in China＂, designers should masterly apply traditional Chinese decorative elements to modern graphic design and thus promote the unique essence of Chinese culture to the world.
