FUXI's Native Home, a Fairy Land on the Mountain:Cultural and Historical Observation on Mu-fu Mountains

天岳幕阜山古称桓山、天岳山、幕阜山、天柱山、雷公山、雷台山、昌江山等,后并称天岳幕阜山。天岳幕阜山自古系名山。这里乃史前伏羲氏归葬之地,如今仍然保存有伏羲文化遗迹。经考察,当地大量民俗均与伏羲文化有关。

In the old times, Mufu Mountains referred to Heng Mountain, Tianyue Mountain, Mufu Mountain, Tianzhu Mountain, Leigong Mountain, Leitai Mountain, and Changjiang Mountain, etc. At present all these mountains are called Tianyue-Mufu Mountain, which has always been a famous one and had been the burial place for FUXI in prehistory. Now a lot of FUXI culture relics can be widely founded here and a lot of local customs are related to FUXI culture.
