New Thinking on Thesis Guidance of Economics Graduates in Provincial Universities

毕业论文是对大学生四年专业学习的一次综合检验。它判断经济类专业毕业生是否具备了以下技能:用于解决经济问题的逻辑思维;从数据中进行观察和推断;运用良好的笔头写作和口头表达来阐述思想。毕业论文不但不应取消,而且应从选题、过程、写作及答辩等环节,进一步完善论文指导工作。其中,选题环节除学生自选和教师指定外增加双向互动式选题;过程指导重视文献阅读和实地调查;写作环节突出现代写作范式和逻辑思维;答辩环节实行回避制和匿名制。

Graduation thesis is a comprehensive test of four-year professional learning for college students. It judges whether the students major in economics have the following skills： logical thought used in solving problems, observation and inference from data, and presenting ideas in compelling writing and speech. Graduation thesis not only should not be canceled, but also should be improved from the selection of topics, process, writing and defense. Among them, in the topic selecting part, two-way interactive topic-selecting should be added, in addition to students＇ choice and teachers＇ assignment; process guidance focuses on literature reading and field survey; the writing part highlights modern writing paradigm and logical thinking; the defense part implements avoidance system and anonymity.
