仓央嘉措诗歌两英译本的目的性探析

仓央嘉措是西藏家喻户晓的天才诗人,也是闻名于世界的伟大民族诗人。他的诗歌在民间广为流传,至今已是驰名中外。仓央嘉措诗歌引起广泛关注的同时,其汉译本和英译本更是层出不穷。目前,国内仓央嘉措诗歌有三个英译本,其中于道泉先生的《第六代达赖喇嘛仓央嘉措情歌》和李正栓、王密卿教授的《汉英对照仓央嘉措诗集》使用相同的汉语底本,但是两者的英译思想和风格却大不相同,从其翻译目的及策略和英译特色等方面便可窥见一斑。通过对于道泉和李正栓两个英译版本进行对比探析,以期引导读者能够从多角度欣赏仓央嘉措诗歌的艺术魅力及不同英译本的风格,从而达到文化传播和交流的目的。

Tsangyang Gyatso is a talented household poet and also a great national poet well-known throughout the world. His poetry that is widespread among the people enjoys great popularity at home and abroad. With extensive attention, the Chinese and English versions of Tsangyang Gyatso poetry keep emerging in an endless stream. At present, The Poems of Tsangyang Gyatso has three English versions, among which Yu Daoquan＇ s version and Li Zhengshuan＇ s version use the same original Chinese text, but there is a huge difference on their translation thought and style, which can be well-seen from their translation purposes, translation strategies and translation features. Through the comparative study of the two English versions of Yu Daoquan and Li Zhengshuan, this paper expects to help readers to comprehensively enjoy the different styles and the artistic charms of the two English versions and to realize cultural communication.
