新时期以来,受西方后现代主义观念的影响,中国当代艺术参照西方当代艺术的观念和表现形式,塑造着自身的当代文化形象,在参与国际文化交流的过程中,逐渐意识到传达自身文化的价值和意义,表现为对传统文化的回望、自觉与重构,并视之为中国当代文化的建构及其发展的内在诉求,形成了特有的叙事模式。

Influenced by Western post-modernism contemporarily, Chinese contemporary has shaped its contemporary art image with the reference of Western modern art＇s perception and expression forms. Through the process of international cultural exchanges,Chinese contemporary art gradually realizes the value of conveying its own cultural values and cultural meanings featuring cultural retrospect,cultural introspection and cultural reconstruction,which has been regarded as the internal demands of the construction and development of Chinese contemporary art and has formed a distinctive Chinese narrative schema.
