摘要
20世纪40年代是美华文学发展史上的重要阶段,由于资料匮乏导致学界对这一阶段美华文学的研究缺乏整体性。《华侨文阵》、《美洲华侨日报》"新生"副刊、《新苗》等文艺刊物都是40年代重要的美华文学原发文献,对之梳理总结后发现,抗战后美华文学获得蓬勃发展是由于新型创作者的加入、各类文艺刊物的创办及美华文艺界对华侨青年习作的鼓励等。此期美华文学的中国意识较为突出,也表现出浓厚的本土化意识,建构美国华侨文艺特质的理论诉求。他们强调写作者深入华人社区以写实笔法展现华人的精神面貌,尝试确立美华文学不同于中国文学的独特内涵。
In the history of Chinese American literature, the Chinatown literature of 1940 s is very important. Since the original materials are difficult to find out, the studies on the area are few and fragmental. By searching and studying the paper or magazine, Huaqiaowenzhen, Xinsheng and Xinmiao, it 's found that the rapid development of Chinatown literature in 1940 s was due to three causes. The new writers emigrated from China during the an-ti-Japanese War brought grand new literal ideas and created many literature and art magazines, they encour-aged the Chinatown youth to write their own literal works. They did not only focus on their motherland but also tried to express the life in America and construct the characteristics of American Chinatown literature.
