Research Progress on Heterosis Mechanism

杂种优势是指杂种F1在某些表现型方面超越其双亲的现象。简要论述了杂种优势形成的有关学说,如显性假说、超显性假说、上位性效应、基因的差异表达、等位基因的特异性表达以及DNA甲基化等,并且介绍了国内外学者在该领域所进行的相关研究。

Heterosis, or hybrid vigour, describes the superior performance of heterozygous F1- hybrid plants in many phenotype compared to the average of their homozygous parental inbred lines. This article primarily discusses relevant hypothesis of heterosis, such as dominance hypothesis, overdominance hypothesis, epistatic effect hypothesis, gene differential expression, allele- specific gene expression and DNA methylation hypothesis, and so on. Related researches in this field of domestic and foreign scholars are also provided.
