明清徽州名族对社区的建设及其积极作用

Construction and Active Role in the Community of Huizhou Noble Clan in Ming-Qing Dynasties

名族为族人进行农田水利、交通,以及祖宗崇拜之外的社区民众共同信仰的社神、寺院道观的建设,并且这些基础设施基本上与族邻乡邻共享,救助活动往往施及邻人,收到和睦乡邻的效果。名族自身既可藉此成为楷模,社区也因此得益而安定。所以名族成为社区公共设施的建设者、维护者,社区民众共同活动的管理者,兼负民间疾苦解脱者的使命,虽然它的能量很有限。

The noble clans were kinds of construction activities for the tribe, such as farmland water conservancy, traffic facilities and the temples of god of the land, Buddhist and Taoist,these temples were the common folk belief outside of ancestor worship for community people. These public facilities cloud be shared with the tribe and neighbors,the relief activities cloud benefit and harmonious neighbors. The noble clans could become a model for community by these construction activities, the community also cloud benefit and stability. So the noble clans become the builders and maintainers of community public facilities,the managers of community public activities, and had the mission of relief negative hardships, although its power was limited.
