Auto-classification of Learners Based on Clustering Method in Machine Learning Field

本文将机器学习领域的聚类算法应用到开放教育领域,从学习成果的角度详细分析数据特点,选出多维特征值,调试算法参数,并进行实验以检验学习者分类效果。引入的自动分类算法不仅对当前远程开放教育领域有很强的应用价值,而且对慕课(Massive Open Online Courses,MOOC)的大规模学习者特征分析、个性化和多元化教学设计等均有非常重要的意义。

This paper applies clustering method in machine learning field to open education field, makes a detailed analysis on data features from the perspective of learning outcome, selects multi-dimensional features, tests arithmetic parameter, and experiments learners＇ classification. The introduction of clustering method is not only beneficial for the current open and distance education field, but also has a great significance on the research of MOOC in terms of large-scale learner analysis, individualized and diversified teaching design, etc.
