Evaluation of the Benefit Produced by the Policy about Ecological Protection Subsidy Incentives for Natural Grassland

武威巿有天然草原面积170多万hm^2。通过基本草原划定、草原承包、推行草原禁牧和草畜平衡制度、实行牧草良种项目、严格资金管理及落实配套政策等多种措施,草原补奖政策得到全面落实,草原植被有了明显恢复,草原畜牧业生产和农牧民生活发生了可喜变化,草原牧区呈现出欣欣向荣的景象,草原生态建设取得了显著成效。

There is more than 1.7 million hm^2 natural grassland in Wuwei city. A variety of measures, such as grassland layout, grassland contracting, implementation of grassland grazing and livestock balance system, improved pasture variety, rigorous fund management and practicable policies are carried out, and the subsidy incentives are also fully covered. Consequently, the grassland vegetation has been significantly restored, and, the animal production and farmers or herdsmen＇s living are changing. Then, grassland are showing a thriving scene, and grassland ecological construction has made remarkable achieve- ments.
