大学教师作为高等教育的实施者、价值观的传播者及人文教育的实践者,在社会中承担着重要的作用,但目前我国高校教师队伍的素质良莠不齐,一些大学教师缺乏正确的自我约束,所言所行有损大学教师的形象等问题较为突出,客观上需要完善教师聘用标准与评估考察机制,提升教师的专业素养,主观上要求大学教师树立正确的价值导向,加强自身约束,注重人文关怀,把先进的教育理念融入到专业知识教育和关心学生的学习与生活当中。
