摘要
《庄子休鼓盆成大道》作为最早被译介到欧洲的中国古典小说之一,在欧洲广为流传,并为不少作家借鉴和模仿,范存忠曾称之为"中国式的以弗所妇女"的故事。本文就"以弗所妇女"或"不忠的寡妇"这一流传了数千年的母题,在中国话本小说《庄子休鼓盆成大道》与古罗马小说《萨蒂利孔》和印度"鹦鹉故事"中的源流进行比较,并研究以伏尔泰和哥尔斯密为代表的欧洲启蒙主义作家对这一中国故事的改造和利用。
As one of the earliest classical Chinese fictions translated and introduced to Eu- rope, Chuang-tzu＇s Singing with Beating Basin was widely spread, and imitated by many writers. Fan Cunzhong called it ＂the Chinese Ephesian Matron＂ story. This paper aims to compare the sources of the motif in this Chinese fiction which has spread for thousands of years with that in the ancient Roman fiction Sary＇ricon and the India Parrot Stories to study the transformation and utilization of the Chinese story by the Enlightenment writers, such as Voltaire and Goldsmith.
