摘要
培养高水平应用型翻译人才,教师能教、会教,学生能学、会学才是关键。本文从"教学目标决定教学内容"这一视角出发,基于前人的相关研究成果,结合山东大学(威海)英汉翻译教学实践,尝试性回答"英汉翻译课堂上应该教什么?"这一问题。本文指出,在英汉翻译课堂上,教师应注重引导学生掌握英、汉语语言类型以及句法特征,洞悉英汉翻译本质,厘清英汉翻译程序,领悟英汉翻译原则。
That the teacher knows how to teach lranslation as well as what to teach and that the student knows how to learn Wanslation as well as what to learn play the key role of such good translators training programs as BTI and MTI. In fight of the principle that the teaching contents are determined by the teaching aim, and the previous relevant research results, the paper discusses the very issue that what to teach in English-Chinese translation class with the example of English-Chinese translation teaching practice in Shandong University (Weihai). The paper suggests that English-Chinese translation instruction should pay the greatest emphasis on student mastery of the difference in linguistic typology and in syntactic characteristics of Chinese and English, the nature, the procedure and the principle of English-Chinese translation, which can help the student to evolve from a novice to a journeyman.
