超越物质主义

Transcending over Materialism

现代工业文明是不可持续的,生态文明是人类文明的必由之路,形塑现代工业文明的意识形态是现代性思想。物质主义价值导向是现代性的要害,独断理性主义是现代性的基石。现代工业文明的价值多元是一种假象,物质主义才是现代工业文明的基本精神。后物质主义也只是物质主义的新表现。恰是物质主义这种精神使人们沉溺于"大量生产、大量消费、大量排放"而不能自拔。生态文明建设呼唤的人文精神就是超越物质主义的精神。超越物质主义有不同的精神路径,儒释道三家都是超越物质主义的精神路径,生态化的基督教同样可以成为超越物质主义的精神路径。

Modern industrial civilization is unsustainable. To construct ecological civilization will be the sole choice for mankind in the future. The guidance of modern industrial civilization is modernity. Materialistic values are the crucial point of modernity,and exclusive rationalism is the base of the ideas of modernity. The diversity of values is only the illusion of modern civilization,and materialism is the mainstream of values,or basic spirit of modern civilization. Post-materialism is only a new form of materialism. It is materialism that makes people indulge in mass production,mass consumption and mass emission. To construct ecological civilization we have to transcend over materialism. To do this we have many different ways,and Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism are all good guidance for human beings to transcend materialism. If Christianity will absorb enough ideas form ecology,it will also become a guidance for human being to transcend materialism.
