Semi top-down method applied in the excavation project——Take Tefang Yundang Wensha Mansion as an example

To resolve the problem of soil nail / tieback beyond the red line,considering the requirement of node construction in main building,the excavation of Tefang Yundang Wensha Mansion adopted the following forms of support： semi top- down method,cantilever pile support,pile brace support and pile anchor support. This paper introduces the design thoughts and monitoring results. The monitoring results show that using semi top- down method can satisfy the allowable design limits,which provide insights to resolve soil nail / tieback beyond the red line.
