The experimental results showed that： compared with the traditional reflux quick oven method, determining COD by quick drying oven method took less test time and needed less experimental space, less reagent dosage and less electric energy but led to better precision.Therefore quick drying oven method was a better alternative than the traditional reflux quick oven method.
