The long wall face conveyor is main transport equipment. It is expensive and always working in bad conditions. The driving method of conveyor is important for the running with high efficiency and reliability. The author analyzed and compared the feature of different driving method the long wall conveyor that used by Shendong coal group. The conclusions is valuable for the selection of the long wall face conveyor driving method.
