The Basis and Conditions of Forming Law Faith in China

全社会法律信仰的形成是构建法治中国的内在要求。相对于文化、经济、历史等方面而言,中国在全社会范围形成法律信仰的突破点在于法律本身的完善。法律精神是法律信仰的对象,而法律不过是法律精神的载体,因此法律与其应然价值的融合是法律信仰形成的基础。发展人民民主,满足人类对于生存发展的需要,是法律为人所信仰的条件。

The formation of law faith in the whole society is the inner requirement of constructing rule of law in China. Comparing with culture, economy, history, etc, the breakthrough of forming law faith lies in the perfection of the law itself. The spirit of law is the object of law faith, but the law is just the carrier of law spirit. Therefore, the integration of law and its due value is the foundation of forming law faith. Developing people＇s democracy, meeting the human needs of surviving and development, is the condition of forming law faith.
