The statistic analysis on the Chinese Patent Applications in the field of antifoam agent is conducted. The technology developments of the principal applicants are revealed and typical examples of patented technology are provided. Comparing domestic applicants with the foreign applicants, several suggestions for the future research and development of antifoam agent are given to related researchers and investors in China.
