A Self-leading Design Under the Balance of Artist and Craftman——An Architectural Design Educaiton Principle Review

This article gives a general introduction of the 2014-2015 graduation projects of the Urban ＆ Architecture studio from the School of Architecture ＆ Applied Arts of GAFA, including topic assigning, phases clarifying and training methods. Based on the background in the school of fine arts, a research＇based ＆ self- leading design was put forwards as another architectural education principle, which balanced the natures of artist and craftsman.
