摘要
大学英语教学改革倡导的"以学生为中心"的教学理念和"基于计算机和课堂"的教学模式给传统的教学思想和教学方法带来了巨大的冲击和挑战,迫使大学英语教师认真思考并重新审视自身在新教学模式下的角色和地位。梳理和分析教师课堂角色转换的理论依据和必要性以及如何重新定位与构建网络多媒体环境下的教师课堂角色等问题,有助于大学英语教师转变教学观念,适时调整并转换课堂角色。
The reform of college English teaching ,which advocates that English should be taught in the computer‐based situation by adopting the "student‐centered" teaching methodology ,has made a great im‐pact on the teaching ideas and methodology that college English teachers have followed in the traditional language classroom over the past years .Against this background ,college English teachers are compelled to reflect on what new roles they should assume in the computer‐based language classroom .By dealing with such questions as what are the theoretical foundations for the change of teachers'roles ,why it is necessary for college English teachers to change their roles ,what new roles college English teachers should play in the computer‐based learning situation ,and in what ways teachers can be helped to take on their new roles , the author of this paper hopes to help college English teachers to adjust themselves to the current teaching reform ,drop their out‐of dated teaching ideas and assume the new roles in the language classroom .
