An Analysis of Xi Jinping's Thought about the Construction of Socialist Spiritual Civilization

习近平站在巩固和发展社会主义制度、坚定走中国特色社会主义道路的战略高度,强调社会主义精神文明是社会主义发展的重要动力,是促进人全面发展的根本要求;建设社会主义精神文明,必须坚持党管意识形态不动摇;要坚定信念,树立阵地意识,创新手段,把继承传统优秀文化又弘扬时代精神、立足本国又面向世界的当代中国文化创新成果传播出来。其基本特点是战略性、民族性、时代性、人民性。

From the strategic level of consolidating and developing socialism system and firmly taking the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics,Xi Jinping emphasizes that socialist spiritual civilization is the important driving force of the development of the socialism and the fundamental requirements to boost comprehensive development of human being. The construction of socialist spiritual civilization must be based on adhering firmly to the party taking charge of ideology. It also requires strengthening faith,setting up the position consciousness and innovating methods so as to make the innovation products of contemporary Chinese culture which inherits the excellent traditional culture and carries forward the spirit of the age,establishes itself in China and face the world spread out.
