双向分布式侧面抽运单模光纤放大器的实验研究 被引量:2

摘要 基于国产分布式侧面耦合包层抽运(DSCCP)掺镱光纤,建立了一个全光纤、最高输出功率为106.7 W的光纤放大器,并对光纤放大器在前向、后向及双向抽运方案下的输出特性进行研究。研究表明,DSCCP光纤适用于采用双向抽运方案的光纤激光器系统。通过对比发现,双向抽运方案下放大器的斜率效率低于单向抽运方案下放大器的斜率效率。 An all-fiber optical fiber amplifier with the maximum power output of 106.7 W is established based on a home-made distributed side-coupled cladding-pumped (DSCCP) Yb-doped fiber. The output characteristics of the three pumping schemes (i. e., forward, backward and bidirectional pumping schemes) are also investigated. It shows that the DSCCP fiber is applicable to the fiber laser systems with bidirectional pumping scheme. By comparing the performances of the three pumping schemes, it is found that the slope efficiency of the bidirectional pumping scheme is lower than those of the forward and backward pumping schemes.
