A Memetic Account of Chinese Dream Discourse

语言与社会发展相互作用,"中国梦"概念在汉语中带来了丰富的话语表征,由其构成的话语反过来也对国家的发展起到重要推动作用。分析表明,"中国梦"话语在构成方式上具有不同程度的可复制性,在传播过程中体现出多层面的主体性,并且在话语实践中产生了广泛的社会语用效应,因而是典型的语言模因现象。深度理解"中国梦"话语的语言模因本质有利于更好地把握中国政府的执政理念和社会发展规划。

Language and social development interact with each other. The concept of Chinese dream has been substantially represented in Chinese discourse, which in turn serves as an important impetus for the development of the country. The analysis of Chinese dream discourse reveals its typical memetic features in terms of varied replicability, salient subjectivity and powerful societal-pragmatic effects. The memetic perspective in this study yields a comprehensive understanding of China's governing ideology and its social development planning.
