论王尔德的艺术化批评

On Oscar Wilde's Criticism as Art

以往对王尔德的研究主要集中在他的文学创作上,对他的文学批评理论关注的相对较少一些。其实,他的文学批评思想,如对文学批评的地位和对公众和道德与艺术形式之间关系的认识,开创了一代风气,预示了即将登上舞台的西方20世纪文论的主潮方向。本文主要以王尔德的《作为艺术家的批评家》和《社会主义制度下人的灵魂》为例,通过文本分析来对其批评思想的来龙去脉、构成要素以及意义进行梳理和总结。

Most of the critics of Oscar Wilde in the past have been concerned more with his literary writings and less with his ideas of literary criticism. Actually, Wilde＇s i- deas of literary criticism, for example, his understanding of literary position, the public and the relationship between art and morality, initiate a new general mood of criticism, indicating the orientation of the forthcoming mainstream of literary theory in the 20th century. This paper will make a case study of Wilde＇s ＂The Critic as Artist＂ and ＂The Soul of Man under Socialism＂ to review and analyze the sources, constituents and significance of his ideas of literary criticism.
