摘要
20世纪下半叶是香港高速发展的时期,政府通过发展公共交通协同新市镇建设满足700万人居住并保留了67%的土地绿化覆盖。梳理新市镇发展与港铁系统建设的历程,能够在不同发展阶段分析轨道系统如何支持和促进新市镇发展;解读轨道站点建设与周边区域发展的时空关系,能够证明轨道站点导向的土地同步开发更有利于促进车站区域形成紧凑城市形态。理论和政策的研究、明确的实施主体和清晰的开发策略促进了香港轨道与城市发展的协同,实现了投资经济效益和居民出行效率的双赢。
Hong Kong was in a rapidly developing period during 1960's to 21st century, the policies integrated with land-use and transport was carried out to inhabit 7 million peoples by the government, meanwhile, more than 67% green territory was kept. The development of new towns and transit system proved that land use integrated with transit could improve compact pattern in station catchment areas. Comprehensive theories researches, deeply studies of urban situation, proper manager, and elaborated policies helped to achieve synergy of metro construction and urban development, thereby benefit of both investment and public interest.
