Starting from the perspective of historical evolution and combining with specific development situation of American teacher professional development school in each stages, this paper introduces the evolution of guarantee measure, analyzes the characteristics and development of guarantee measures of American teacher professional development schools, summarizes the reference and experiences for the continuing education and development of Chinese teachers and provides inspiration to the education of Chinese teachers under the background of teacher professionalization and lifelong education.
