《说文解字》是我国语言文化史上的经典著作,全书共收录九千三百五十三个字,根据因形释义的原则,分为五百四十部,其中女部字238个占全书较大比重。文章通过分门别类地分析研究女部字,进一步还原造字之初的字形和字意,从而研究字词的本来意蕴及其文化内涵。

The book Shuowen Jiezi is a classical work in our country＇s language and culture history,and it records nine thousand and three hundred and fifty- three Chinese characters in all. According to the rule of the explanation by the form,Shuowen Jiezi is further divided into five hundred and forty chapters. And there are two hundred and thirty- eight characters with the female radical which acounts for a large scale in this book. The essay makes a detailed analysis on the female to radical characters,and gives a further description of the original shape and meaning of Chinese characters so as to explain the Chinese cultural connotation.
