体育建设是社会主义建设的重要环节,是社会发展的动力。美国各项体育事业持续、稳定、健康发展离不开美国的"多元文化"。从美国体育发展道路上不难发现美国体育界不仅注重发展职业化体育,还有更多社会性的体育,不仅重视体育与教育的全面融合,还重视职业体育制度的完善和体育产业的发展;不仅注重政府对体育事业的支持和引导,还鼓励体育俱乐部和志愿者对社会体育的发展。所以我国在面对激烈的国际竞赛环境下,要创新思路、吸取其经验教训、转变发展方式,为我国体育发展战略服务。

Sports construction is an important part of socialist construction,and also the motivation of social development. The sustained,stable and healthy development of various sports in USA is closely related to the American ＂ multi- culture＂. From the way in which the United States sports develop,it is not hard to find that sports in USA has pays attention not only to the development of professional sports,but also more social sports;and attaches great importance not only to the comprehensive integration of sports and education,but also the improvement of professional sports system and the development of sports industry. It not only pays attention to the support and guidance given to sports by government,also encourage private sports clubs and volunteer for the development of social sports. Thus,under the fierce environment of international competition,we have to learn the experiences from the sports development of America,and transform the mode of sports development,which service for the sports development of China.
